Peer Support Program

In 2009, NACOLE initiated a Mentorship Program dedicated to our professional practitioners. The program served as a partnership between participant and participant - an agreement focused upon interactive support, guidance, sharing of ideas, expertise and role modeling. Its objective was to enhance the career and leadership development of a diverse group of NACOLE practitioners.

The Mentorship Program has been successful and has enriched the participants over the years. However, NACOLE has recognized the need to also aid experienced practitioners in order to deal with secondary trauma and to receive support from their peers.  Therefore,  the Mentorship Program has morphed into the Peer Support Program.
